i had a blazing ear infection 9 days ago.
i couldnt sleep and was crying like a baby until i went to the doctor.
he gave me antibiotics and told me to come back in if it didnt feel better in 3 days.

day 3:i feel almost cured.
but day 4 -9 have been getting progressively worse (but not nearly as bad as day 1)
and now i only have one day left of meds and i dont feel "all better" yet.

what would have caused this to happen?

stuck under the couch...

i really really really want to join the Maine RollerDerby team.(which is currently recruiting)

unfortunately that would mean i have to commute to portland 3 times a week.
which would mean i need babysitters, and i wouldnt get to see my kids as much...

but i want to join so bad :(

*sigh*

today im a little bummed.

on a positive note, my boss, cuzzy says when i finish my bagpipes class he will pay me to play at the quarterdeck, which might be fun.

ok.
no more re-scheduling, the tupperware party is on MAY 25th at 7PM.

it is the last day for may specials so all sales must be closed by the end of the party. if you want to see the catalog early just let me know.
also, of course, youre not obligated to buy anything at all but you can just come hang out and pretend you are. like trying on wedding dresses when youre not even engaged :)
its a baby-friendly event.
if you cant make it but you want to see the catalog just gimme your address.

somehow through the hustle and bustle of today
i wound up setting a date to
HOST A TUPPERWARE PARTY!

im actually kinda excited about it.
there are some super adorable things
like cupcake holders, and homeade picklers
and a whole line of black stuff that looks real sophisticated.

most of it, like tupperware is, is kinda expensive but there are some cheaper fabulous things too.

right now the date is set for MAY 6, 2007 at 7pm!
but i told her there are certain people i really want to be able to come and i might have to change the date to fit their schedules.
like rhiannon, and karen, and fallyn:
PLEASE COME!
i miss hanging out with everyone
even if you dont plan on buying anything. its a good chance to visit me and see the new curtains ive been making. haha.

also megan and carol i wanted you guys to come too because i dunno i thought it might be fun!

on a brighter note,

my newest tattoo ideas:

1. blank "to do" template on the back of my hand

"to do:"
followed by 3 boxes
then every morning i can list things i need to do and check the boxes after ive completed them.
then wash off the list and start over.

2. Parts of the Operation game
these are the specific pieces i want:
spare ribs (on the ribcage)
funny bone
wrenched ankle
charley horse (on my upper thigh)
water bucket (on the knee)

each tattoo would have a red background, of course and a silvery border.

also im torn about the adams apple...
since i have the cupcake a little lower than my neck i think i would like to continue the sweetness theme and if i did get an apple it would be an oozing caramel apple on my neck...
but im not sure if im ready for a neck tattoo.

i had a doctors appointment today
and its official: im going to have a huge baby.

maybe not huge but at this rate he will bigger than seren and she was over 8 lbs.

they checked my fundal height(which is just the uterus size that the baby is living in) typically it would be 26cm from bottom to top.
mines 30....which is what it should be in 4 WEEKS.

doesnt seem like a big deal really.. but when i think God how big will he actually be in 4 weeks then...makes me a little nervous.

anyway, seren made some fabulous fingerpainting pictures.
i wrapped my mommys christmas presents for her today.
it was fun.

the simpsons dont make me laugh anymore.
not even a little.

ive become a zombie lately.
work, eat, sleep, shower. repeat.

i havent done anything spontaneous in so long.

i miss seattle.
i miss socializing outside of work.

i tried being crafty to make myself feel more accomplished. i sewed a baby quilt. i crocheted booties and a hat, working on a scarf for the dips.

didnt do the trick.

its not so much like im depressed. its just autopilot-like. maybe its the season.
i guess im bored. like that kind of thirsty you get after i eat pizza and no matter how much you drink, youre still thirsty and its like you didnt drink anything at all.

i was thinking of writing a kids book.
im lacking something, im not sure what it is...i have the motivation and follow-through and i guess i have the energy....ENTHUSIASM!
i, miss moores, lack enthusiasm. which is something i dont ever recall being low on. until now.

anyone have a cure for lack o'enthusiasm?

i love seren to pieces
i just cant stand it sometimes

its something about the way she laughs so hard when i tickle her that she gives herself the hiccups and pleads for me to "stop it momma,hiccup, stop it"
or the way she snuggles up at bedtime and says "ah alu momma" that just makes me melt.

and i remember what its all for.

i love that in the background theres a cat staring at a blank tv screen. i dunno why, but it makes me laugh so hard

my dad just came to visit.
when he comes up to he gets our birthday and christmas presents early so he doesnt have to pay to ship them from west virginia.

i got the sewing machine ive been wanting :D so i can start making clothes!
i went to fabric bonanza because they are going out of business and everything is way cheap...
but they only had crap left.

rhiannon: next time i have a car, maybe friday, wanna make a trip up to augusta?! get some cool fabric and other crafty supplies!

hippy, fallyn: next time i have a car i promise to also come get serens coupe. i just never have a car except for work. is it outside? if it is then maybe i can grab it on my way home from work if its just me and seren in the car.

and guess what seren got for her birthday from my dad!
a princess power wheels car. its a pontiac but its super cool. she doesnt really like it when it moves but it has a working radio that she sings a long to and then she climbs out and uses the windshield and hood as a cool slide.

so kelly gave me a monitor so i can play wow again
and thats all i want to do

now i just have to do is shove a wire through the floor upstairs and pull it out the ceiling downstairs to connect it to the router and hope to god it works right away....
then wait all night to get my computer updated with all the new patches...

then tomorrow, at some point, i can wrestle with the lag long enough to play for a few minutes

and it will sooo be worth it.

i did something kinda stupid.
something i do quite often.
i counted my chickens
and they didnt hatch.

i assumed my old regular daycare lady could watch seren 2 days this week and even though i couldnt get a hold of her quite yet i told work i could work on wednesday and thursday.
and she cant.

can anyone watch seren from noon to 5 on wednesday or thursday.

she enjoys the park or the beach or just sitting at home with cartoons.

and shes damn cute.

i can give you some cash and food and whatnot.
